NIMEPA was officially Represented at the just concluded INTERMEPA 20TH ANNIVERSARY IN POSODONIA.
The Nigerian Marine Environment Protection Association (NIMEPA) was officially represented at the recently concluded INTERMEPA 20th Anniversary Celebration, held during the prestigious Posidonia 2026 maritime exhibition in Athens, Greece, from 1st–5th June 2026.
The milestone celebration brought together Marine Environment Protection Associations (MEPAs), maritime professionals, environmental advocates, and industry stakeholders from across the globe to recognize two decades of collaborative efforts toward protecting the marine environment.
As the only African Marine Environment Protection Association within the INTERMEPA network, NIMEPA’s participation represents a significant step in strengthening Africa’s voice in global conversations around ocean sustainability, marine pollution prevention, and responsible maritime operations.
